Unicorn Theater Trip

We went to the Unicorn Theater and saw 2 performances, the first performance was called I, Cinna. I didn’t really understand this performance, but i knew that it had something to do with the death of Julius Ceaser, it was performed by Tim Crouch. But what stood out to me was the use of music in the performace, as it was used in a way to indulge the audience and help the performer. I also liked how props were placed in a specific way, and where it places, as it was easier for the performer to get to. There was a part in the play where the performer, was reading a chicken, and taking bits and pieces out of the chicken. It was a grotesque thing to see, as i nearly felt like throwing up.The way that technology was incorporated into the performance, was nice to watch and made sense to as to what happened next. The performer was clear, which meant that the audience could very clearly understand him. Towards the end we see the perform playing two different roles which was unusual but made sense. through out the whole performance he was narrating what was happening, and was always in control of where the story was going.

The next performance we saw, was The Bee In Me, this Performance was about informing children about serious situations, and what they should do in them. The Performers were Emily Burnett, James Russel- Morley and Akshay Sharan. This performance started off quite weird
